PCB Drill Bits

The drill bits are divided into four types: ST, UC, SD, and SD/EA.

1. ST Series: Adopts the traditional design method, and the size is mainly 0.2mm to 3.175mm in outer diameter. Suitable for circuit boards containing paper materials, including epoxy paper, phenol epoxy glass, and multi-layer circuits.
2. UC Series: Based on ST, the outer diameter of the blade from the handle neck end is reduced to minimize contact with the hole wall and reduce friction heat. Suitable for drilling multi-layer boards.
3. SD Series: Specially designed for slot hole processing to meet various slotting requirements.
4. EA Slot Cutter: Specially designed slot cutter with enhanced blade rigidity and strength to solve deformation and size tolerance problems in short slot processing. Chip removal performance is optimized to improve drilling efficiency and quality (typically specified: diameter 0.4-1.8mm).

Coated tools use ion beam deposition technology to coat a thin layer of hard-to-dissolve metal or metal compound with good wear resistance on the surface of the base carbide tungsten steel.
